Experience and inspiration

I have been Painting, Pinstriping and Airbrushing for over 25 years, first starting with model making then on to Automotive , wall murals, canvas artwork.

I have worked in Commercial and residential painting, Industrial Spray painting and Sandblasting, Automotive spray painting, Aviation spray painting, Industrial and Mechanical workshops, giving me a wealth of paint product and application experience, also in metal fabrication and steel work including panel beating etc.

My early work was based on the Ed Roth, Von Dutch, Robert Williams among others, over the years my style has developed to include many references including Steve Kafka, Gary Jenson, Steve 'Wizard,'Vince Goodeve, Marcus Pfeil, John 'Tramp' Warner, John Hannukaine, Herb 'Line doctor' Martinez, Dick Bird, 'Bobbo', 'Watson' etc etc..

Formal training with Certificate III in Graphic Design from CATC (Commercial Arts Training College), .

Materials and Equipment

I have tried many different products and equipment over the years, for my style and application have found the Auto AIr and PPG clears extremely Lightfast and durable, Pinstriping I use One shot and/ or Solver Brite-Glow.

I only use Sata Jet and Sata mini jets for Spray painting, and Iwata airbrushes for all my graphic work.

Various Mack, Xcaliber, Kafka, Hannukaine and Jenson brushes are my main equipment for Pinstriping and Graphic work, fine detail and canvas artwork with Sable brushes.
